Lender criteria
Turn each lender's guidelines into criteria every deal is checked against.
Each lender has 25 criteria across business profile, credit and risk, funding size, term and payment, products and additional rules, plus the paper grades it takes. Leave a field blank when the lender has no rule for it.
- Time in business, revenue, deposits, balance, states and industries
- Credit score, positions, NSFs, negative days, recovery activity, prior defaults and reversals
- Funding range, payback window, payment frequency and products offered
- Rules such as sole proprietors, bankruptcy lookback and seasonal businesses
- Match impact previews your edits against your last 150 deals before you save
- Test against a deal shows eligible or not, the score and every check
Have a rate sheet? Paste it into an AI assistant connected to your workspace. It can add the lender and map each line onto these criteria, keeping anything without a matching field as a rule or a note.

Gates and factors
Gates rule a lender out. Factors set the score.
Every lender with criteria is checked two ways, and the checks table on each lender shows both.
Gates: yes or no
Failing any gate rules the lender out for this deal: its score is 0 and it shows Disqualified with the reason. You can still submit to it.
- Product
- Prohibited states
- Allowed and prohibited industries
- Prior defaults and reversals
- Recovery activity
- The lender's additional rules
- Whether the deal was already sent to the lender
Factors: points toward the score
For a lender that passes every gate, the score is the share of points the deal earns across the factors that can be measured, for example 20 of 25 on revenue.
- Monthly revenue, time in business and credit score
- NSFs, negative days and existing positions
- Funding amount, average balance and deposits per month
- Paper grade, term and frequency
- Track record: counts once your team has a history of decisions with the lender, and favours lenders that approve deals like this one
- Relationship: helps when the lender is funding this merchant now or has funded it before
Why this score?
Click a lender's ring to see what moved the number.
Every lender with criteria gets a score from 0 to 100 for the deal. Why this score? lists each criterion, what the lender requires, the deal's value and whether it passed, and the footer says what held the score down.
- Meeting a limit scores well; clearing it comfortably scores better
- Missing a numeric limit holds the whole score down
- Missing deal data shows a ? and costs less than a miss
- Confidence, High, Medium or Low, shows how much the score rests on real data
- Re-match after you upload statements or fix the deal's details
- The score never changes anything on the deal

Recommended threshold and labels
Decide what counts as recommended in your workspace.
A lender is recommended when it passes every gate, has criteria and scores at or above your threshold. The threshold starts at 75, and an admin can set any whole number from 0 to 100.
- At 75, lenders the deal clears on every numeric limit are recommended
- Lower it for soft minimums; raise it to keep only the strongest fits
- A lower number never brings back a disqualified lender
- The threshold never stops you submitting to a lender
- Current funder and Funded before mark lenders that know this merchant
- Submitted marks lenders already sent on this deal

Matching inputs
Add the facts the statements can't show.
The Matching inputs card on the Submissions tab holds what lender matching can't read from documents. Only your team sees it; nothing there is asked of the merchant. Every lender's score updates as you change a field.
- Product, desired term and payment frequency
- A paper grade override, kept until you switch back to computed
- Bankruptcy, franchise years, prior MCA default, ACH reversals and seasonal business
- Bank-verified revenue, deposits and balance once statements are analyzed
- NSFs and negative days from the worst of the latest three months
- A CRS qualifying score replaces the deal's credit score when you pull credit
