Do merchants need an account or a password?

No. The application and the portal open from a link, with no login. Portal links work for 24 hours, and an expired link offers the merchant a fresh one with Send me a new link.

What happens when a merchant stops halfway through the application?

Once they've entered a first name and an email or phone, the application saves as they type and they can resume on any device. After 30 minutes without activity, the CRM contact is tagged Application abandoned and the Application Abandoned trigger fires with a resume link. NextLevel doesn't send reminders itself; your CRM workflow does. Unfinished applications are deleted after 60 days.

Can merchants sign lender contracts in the portal?

Merchants e-sign the application in the portal, and each signature's time and IP address are printed on the application PDF. Lender contracts work differently: you share them to the portal, and the merchant downloads, signs and uploads the signed copy.

Will merchants see NextLevel MCA anywhere?

No. The form and portal carry your logo and colours, and the links merchants open use securefundingportal.com, a neutral address that doesn't show NextLevel MCA in the tab, the icon or link previews.

Which files can merchants upload?

PDFs and photos (PNG, JPG and HEIC) up to 25 MB each. Uploads are matched to the items you asked for, and a bank statement that is already on the deal is refused with a message telling the merchant there's no need to upload it again.

Who gets the deal when a merchant applies from our website?

Applications from a rep's personal link are assigned to that rep. The website embed and the workspace link aren't tied to a rep, so those deals go to your default originator, or to the Unassigned list when that setting is off.

Signatures and contracts

Clear about what gets signed where.

Owners e-sign the application in the portal. Lender contracts are downloaded, signed and uploaded back.

Application e-signatures

Request a signature from each owner. They sign in the portal's Signature tab, and each signature carries the time and IP address as e-sign proof, printed on the application PDF that goes to lenders.

Lender contracts

Contracts from the lender's reply are filed to the deal. Share them to the portal, and the merchant downloads, signs and uploads the signed copy, which lands back in the deal's Contracts folder.

Auto-sign, only with permission

Admins can turn on auto-sign, which shows the owner's typed name on unsigned applications. It's off by default, and should be used only with the owner's permission.

Portal e-signatures apply to the application. For lender contracts, the merchant returns a signed copy through the portal, and the activity log records each step.

Portal links are private, short-lived and easy to replace.

Links expire after 24 hours

Each contact gets their own link. An expired link shows Send me a new link, which goes to the person the old one was sent to. Nothing they uploaded is lost.

Regenerate stops every live link

If a link went to the wrong person, Regenerate makes a new one and stops every live link for that business at once.

Send it only to the merchant

Anyone with a live link can upload documents and view offers, so the link belongs with the merchant and no one else.

Every action is logged

Uploads, offer responses, signatures and returned contracts are written to the deal's activity log, which no one on your team can edit.

Drafts keep sensitive data out

Saved applications never hold Social Security numbers, signatures or files. The merchant enters those when they return.

Merchants never create a password. The link is the way in, and a fresh one is always a click away.
